Fisherman's Wharf
Fisherman's Wharf is a great place to have fun, get some sun, eat great food, and to Ricochet. |
|
Hollywood Boulevard
Recently I put Ricochet to the test in the Hollywood area. From the Walk of Fame, to the top of Mulholland Drive, Ricochet passed the test! |

Hollywood Hills
Surprisingly, the Merlin/iPAQ combo worked great in the Hollywood Hills. Shortly after taking this pic, we came across an actress from Beverly Hills 90210 (Claire), and made fools of ourselves while she talked on her cell phone at her mail box. |

Oakland A's Game
My Merlin maxes out at 163.2kbps inside Network Associates Coliseum in Oakland. While others are struggling to figure out what's happening in other games, I'm tuned in to MajorLeagueBaseball.com. |

Compaq Center
Here's a shot of the newly named Compaq Center in San Jose. It was formerly known as "The San Jose Arena", and it's the home of the San Jose Sharks. The Compaq Center is affectionately known to locals as "The Shark Tank." It's about a block and a half from the Metricom Headquarters at 333 West Julian St. I took this pic right after watching some workers put the finishing touches on the new sign.

Microsoft Mobile Experience Tour - San Jose
This is the Microsoft Mobile Experience Trailer at the Hyatt Hotel in San Jose. It was great to see Ricochet being promoted by the likes of Compaq, Sierra Wireless, and Microsoft. |
